My opinion of the "new" Morongo Little Creators Preschool is not a very good one- several years ago however, when it was still Morongo Indian Head Start I really enjoyed my experience there as a parent for two years.I thought the teachers and the rest of the staff were very nice people and I appreciated the fact that every one took the time to know you on a first name basis- the attention the teachers paid to the children was outstanding--now with my nephew attending this facility last year and this year I am a regular there again and I do have a problem.... To begin with there is not enough professionalism in the offices!! Is everyday gossip and fun day? No one even attempts to stop the gabbing and fun (not to mention the obvious, 'too friendly' behavior amongst coworkers on the site-- now how appropriate is that really, when the improper behavior between directors and their staff is occuring during school hours and remember we're talking about preschool--3 and 4 year olds-what else are they being exposed too? Now remember I can compare the past two years as Morongo Little Creators to Morongo Indian Head Start --and I realized every one is still the same, the staff that ran the school with so much professionalism and yet very personal as well is still the same. So now let's look at the newest members of the staff -- the director Miss Pat and the assistant director Miss Irma -- could it be that this new "atmosphere" is stemming from one who is abusing her position of authority ?? Is this place a learning facility or an all day lunch break?? I honestly hope someone looks into this matter before those that are running this place start giving it a bad name.
