My girlfriend and I went there, we saw it driving around Panama City, and we Love Pirates of the Caribbean, so it looked great. We ate at Hooks at lunch, first of all half the tables were open, but we had to wait a half hour before we were seated. The ambiance severely lacked, tell the truth I've seen chain restaurants that have better ambiance. As far as the food, it was a step above Captains D's, which for the money was extremely over priced. My entrée there were a ton of shrimp but the shrimp quality reminded me of Costco or Sams Wholesale warehouse not of fresh seafood which by the way they had a dock right outside the door. My girlfriend had oysters, she did not get that many, they were almost stingy. The food was not good overall. :( The service was about the same, it took a long time to get our food and even longer to get our server to get our check. The only positive, I can say was their gift shop, I got a great Pirate T-shirt. I tried to see if they had an email on their website. I wanted to let them know of our experience. They didn't
:( Overall our experience, I would never go there again and would not recommend it unless they did some severe changes. The word it reminded me of "Tourist Trap".
