Businiess name:  DICK'S Sporting Goods
Review by:  Mary S.
Review content:
I have to write about a good shopping experience I had at Dick's Sporting Goods in the Rivertown Crossings mall in Grandville. My son, who is NOT a shopper, informed me that he found 2 gift cards from Galyan's in his room from last Christmas. Needless to say, Galyan's had gone out of business about 6 months ago!Thinking he just lost out on a $20 present, I didn't want to make a trip down to the mall for nothing, So, I called to see if the gift cards were still usable.Of course, said the salesclerk! So down we went to see what he could buy. I wasn't particularly enthusiastic-I'm not a mall shopper because of the high prices, and Galyans was a very high-end store. But, the prices in Dick's seemed very reasonable-he bought a skateboard with the cards and some of his own money. While he was debating the merits of one skateboard over another, I did some browsing of my own and found a swimsuit for my daughter in the clearance rack for #9.97 which rang up for 4,58 at the register! The clerk informed me that all clearance items were 50% off! This discount shopper was very happy with her mall excursion! My daughter was also very excited to watch kids scampering up their rock-climbing wall!
