Review content:
I wanted to test drive the 2006 Honda Accord. As the salesman took me towards the cars he asked, "If I can make you a deal you like, will you buy the car today"? I explained to him that I was only out for a test drive today and did not have time to make such a decision that day. Since I had not bought a new car in 10 years I wanted to take my time. Upon hearing that, the salesman's attitude towards me changed drastically. He started being very short with me and made me feel as if I was wasting his time. It was a long walk to the cars and I have back problems, I saw that other potential buyers were being taken around the lot in carts to look at cars. I asked the salesman if he could get a cart to drive me to the vehicles. I told him that because of my condition, my legs were starting to hurt. He said, "Do you want to test drive a car or drive around the lot in a cart? He did not say this in a joking manner. He had a very irritated tone. I wanted to leave right then but since I had walked all the way to the car I decided I might as well take it for a drive. The salesman left me at the car and said he was going to get the keys and be right back. After standing in the HOT sun for 20 minutes; a YOUNG man from the dealership came walking across the lot and asked me if I wanted to take the car for a test drive. I said I did but someone else was helping me. The young man said he was sent out to take me on the test drive because my salesman was busy with another customer! The young man could not answer any of my questions about the cars and was not even a salesman. I'm not sure what he did but he looked to be of high school age. I could not believe and still am amazed by the way I was treated at JOHN EAGLE HONDA. All it takes is one bad employee to ruin the reputation of a company. I had always intended on buying a Honda Accord until that day. That salesman totally ruined the entire experience for me. I am not in any hurry to visit any car lots any time soon. K
