Review content:
Went there again today -- to buy strings that I needed now. The management/ownership must encourage these clowns to treat people like garbage, because they've honed it into a fine art. Funny how music retailers are shuttering stores left and right in Houston. I wonder where the slack-jawed counterhelp at Rockin' Robin will go to be rude to customers after that store closes...
I've decided to order my Elixirs by the case over the internet. Not worth the hassle or drive to go locally.
Funny story -- a few years ago I needed a guitarist for session work fast. Was willing to pay top dollar and sponser union dues. Walked into Rockin' Robin, spent 5 minutes talking to some arrogant failed-musician-turned-music-store-cashier-know-it-all, and walked out. Instead found an axe slinger at local high school for the performing arts.
