This company is UNRELIABLE, UNRESPONSIVE, AND DOWN RIGHT IRRESPONIBLE in my eyes. When we first consulted the company about replacing our roof, we explained to Hartman that we wanted an impact resistant roof. We were looking at several options – as far as material (metal etc.). We were told that metal was not a viable option, to many architectural peaks and valleys – OK. So, we were sold a bill of goods with Certainteed impact resistant shingles – all right, sounded good to us. So now, I have been working on a warranty/installation issue with Hartman Roofing for almost 10 months now. In addition, his installers/sub-contractors are messy and careless. They punched a whole through the sheet-rock in my ceiling while they where in my attic space cleaning up or installing a solar-tube. They also dented the metal roof on our car-port. Not to mention, the careless application of tar on the roof vents, sky-light, and valley’s. Yep, they got tar on the house and my brand new $12,000 AC unit. So now what? We don’t know. I have been in constant communication with Hartman Roofing and Certainteed for almost a year and we still have not resolved our roofing issue completely.
SO PLEASE DO NOT USE CERTAINTEED SHINGLES AND FOR GOD’S SAKE DON’T USE HARTMAN ROOFING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
