Called Kirby to inspect my roof for hail damage from last summer. he is very prompt and courteous. Customer service is a top priority for Kirby. Walked me through the entire process and helped with the insurance claim. The job was well done and completed extremely quick. completely satisfied more

The owner , Kirby Hartman gave me a quote , I told him yes . I asked for a little higher quality roof , and he followed through . The price was okay , competitive price.! This was September of 2014. I went to his office to pay him in feb 2015. He told me he would return to wire in my attic fan ; that his man was busy , but would get it done before the weather got hot. I never received one phone call ; or text , nothing ! In fact , I finally had to pay an electrician to wire in my attic fan ; or finish the job. 6 months after the roof was replaced. more

When it came time to get my roof replaced I was trying to avoid spending too much money but I still wanted something that was going to last. I got 5 quotes and Hartman wasn't the cheapest but they were close and they came off as the most impressive company I talked to. 2 days later they got right to work and were finished the next day. Everything was quick and fairly painless less a day and a half of banging. Highly recommended. more

I called Hartman Roofing to fix a leak on my parents chimney. They were able to repair the leak. My parents were very pleased the next time it rained! more

Back in 2004, my father (who was getting a bit too old to climb roofs) asked Hartman to come in and do the VERY complex roof on top of his old 1903 colonial style house on Grape Street in Abilene, Texas. This company is UNRELIABLE, UNRESPONSIVE, AND DOWN RIGHT IRRESPONIBLE in my eyes. When we first consulted the company about replacing our roof, we explained to Hartman that we wanted an impact resistant roof. We were looking at several options – as far as material (metal etc.). We were told that metal was not a viable option, to many architectural peaks and valleys – OK. So, we were sold a bill of goods with Certainteed impact resistant shingles – all right, sounded good to us. So now, I have been working on a warranty/installation issue with Hartman Roofing for almost 10 months now. In addition, his installers/sub-contractors are messy and careless. They punched a whole through the sheet-rock in my ceiling while they where in my attic space cleaning up or installing a solar-tube. They also dented the metal roof on our car-port. Not to mention, the careless application of tar on the roof vents, sky-light, and valley’s. Yep, they got tar on the house and my brand new $12,000 AC unit. So now what? We don’t know. I have been in constant communication with Hartman Roofing and Certainteed for almost a year and we still have not resolved our roofing issue completely. SO PLEASE DO NOT USE CERTAINTEED SHINGLES AND FOR GOD’S SAKE DON’T USE HARTMAN ROOFING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

a few years ago, we had a really bad hail storm and this is the company that we had come fix our roof. i just want to say WOW!!! they sent someone out to do an estimate dthe same day we called them. the total we were quoted was awesome! very reasonable. on our estimate was stated the day they would start working on our roof. early that morning they started and they were completely finished well before the end of the day. everyone they have working on the crew was very skilled and efficient. when they were finished the foreman come to the door to let me know. he also gave me a number to call if i had any problems with the roof. i have not had a single problem with my roof since then. an absolutely wonderful company to work with! highly reccomended! more
