Review content:
I'm kind of hot and cold on Ethan Allen. I like the idea and their stuff, but they really wanted us to get a credit card and buy everything recommended on the spot.
We used A. at Alderwood. She was fine, but maybe wasn't a very good listener. She missed the mark on my husband's "modern" TV room. She used the colors he wanted, but it turned out kind of country. Her recommendations for the living room were great so we bought most of that. I wish I could have talked to a couple different designers and chose the one that matched our taste. That would have helped. The sales people are the designers so the women that helped us was just the women that happened to be free when I went in on the weekend. After that I wanted to go in Thursdays and it was hard to get help since she didn't work Thursdays. The other sales people just kept saying they've have our salesperson call us when she was in the office. That was bad.
My aunt had someone from EA come out that she loved. The women recommended paint colors and all kinds of things when she was at her house. It sounded like she was more of an interior decorator and was less worried about selling EA.
