Review content:
Last night we tried Los Cucos in "old" Katy for the first time. This small restaurant is located in a shopping center that looks like it has been around for awhile, and most of the customers looked like "regulars." We were quickly seated, despite a line out the door. The service was very fast, and we had our drinks and chips immediately. The green salsa is to die for! I think it might be the best I've ever had...very creamy and mild. I could have dined on the chips and salsa alone.
I ordered enchiladas and my husband ordered a chicken dish. Both were delicious and had very generous servings. Others around us ordered a large fajita dish that came out on its own "grill." It looked delicious.
Overall, everything was great. My only complaint was that it felt a little warm in the restaurant. But with a packed house and 100 degree temperature outside, it was understandable.
