Okay, first off, I have to set the record straight: The food here is not bland, and is actually very good. Take this from someone who loves Indian food and has easten in multiple places in her lifetime. In fact, I think this may be the best Indian food I've tasted in Sonoma County. Sizzling Tandoor is NOT good anymore--it's southern Indian food, and what that means is every dish has a tomato based sauce and is scorching hot--not much variation there.
Star of India on the other hand is savory, spiced just right, and the basmati is always cooked to perfection. Not only are the bad reviews unwarranted, but they are so negative, that it leaves me wondering.
Pros: Consistently good Indian food.
