Businiess name:  Irori Japanese Restaurant

Review content:
We have dined at this restaurant many times. On our last visit, the bill seemed a bit high. On examining it, we found that the Kikusui Sake was charged at $15.00 per bottle(10 oz,) even though the menu showed it at $9.00 per bottle. When questioned, the waitress explained that the $9.00 was for the 5 oz size. The menu did not specify a size- it just showed Kikusui at $9.00 per bottle. In fact, the waitress said that the restaurant did not have a 5 oz bottle ! She spoke to the manager about the discrepancy. Rather than simply correcting for the difference, the restaurant REFUSED TO CORRECT THE BILL !! They said they would instead change the menu to correct the discrepancy ! The blatant misrepresentation and refusal to make a correction was more upsetting than paying the 67% increase in price! Suggest you check the prices on your bill if you dine there.
