Review content:
We decided to try the Bangkok Restaurant on a whim and overall, it was okay. The two of us split a salt & pepper squid (calamari) which was excellent. I'd say this dish was better than most other asian restaurants. It was light and crispy with a nice flavor. At 8.75, it seemed to be a decent value. We also split a black bean vegetable prawn dish for 9.50. I thought this dish was a total miss. The sauce was not that great and it was predominately veggies. Only 6 shrimp in the entire dish. And though they call it prawns, (I'm thinking large shrimp) they really were just small/average sized shrimp. I thought this dish was way overpriced for what it was and wouldn't recommend it. With so many great asian restaurants around I doubt I'll be back.
P.S. I made it a point to mention that we were first time customers and didn't get any free dessert.
