I can't tell you how many times I've made the trip to Fairview Heights to go shopping and decided to go eat at Lotawata Creek. I have a great tip for those of you who decide to go eat there....make sure you have another person with you who you can share your meal with! In the past I have taken my dates there and just ordered a sandwich, which is VERY good and huge, and the fries smothered with cheese and bacon which comes with a zesty ranch sauce. The fries are an appetizer so we ask for no fries with the meal and just cut the sandwich we ordered in half. Believe me the sandwich is huge! Just writing this makes me wanna drive there right now for food! Try it out if you haven't been there before! It's great!
