Lets just say you will have enough leftovers to have 2 more meals. Prices are in line with everywhere else, but I think that makes this a value, cause you will for sure have food...

This is a fun, delicious, affordable restaurant. I often travel 45 minutes just to go eat there! The menu has many selections. You also get bread before your meal with a delicious butter. The portions are huge, so there will be leftovers for the next day! Or I share with my brothers when I get home! I highly reccomend it, you won't be disappointed!! more

You won't go away hungry! 4/17/2006

Nice resturant with good food. The portions are huge so don't order a lot, or you'll be taking home a lot. Huge menu with lots to choose from. The drinks are good, and the prices are really good for the amount of food you get. The service can be a little iffy some times, but for the most part is ok. Sometimes you can have a really long wait for a table, so be prepared. more

Lots of great food for the price! 4/16/2006

I can't tell you how many times I've made the trip to Fairview Heights to go shopping and decided to go eat at Lotawata Creek. I have a great tip for those of you who decide to go eat there....make sure you have another person with you who you can share your meal with! In the past I have taken my dates there and just ordered a sandwich, which is VERY good and huge, and the fries smothered with cheese and bacon which comes with a zesty ranch sauce. The fries are an appetizer so we ask for no fries with the meal and just cut the sandwich we ordered in half. Believe me the sandwich is huge! Just writing this makes me wanna drive there right now for food! Try it out if you haven't been there before! It's great! more

Huge portions, great food 3/19/2006

Lotawata Creek is a great place to grab a bite to eat after work and on the weekend. The portion sizes are enormous and the food is full of rich flavor. The servers are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere and decor reflects that of the south. If you leave this place hungry, it's your own problem! The only drawback is that wait times can be extremely long during peak times. A sign I recently saw on their door states that parties larger than 10 are no longer taken on a Friday or Saturday night. more
