okay, so the service department tried to charge the wife $400 to connect a tube, work that took ten minutes and no parts, but the service is really generally pretty good for a dealership, far better than the former metro volkswagen and the volkswagen by mission bay - which were kind of asshol-ish - here the service is friendly and relaxed and they have a shuttle to downtown/golden hill...
Update: Went back when I was trying to decide whether to buy a honda or volkswagen- their sales approach was very straight forward and laid back, they gave us a couple of printed out quotations and told us to get back to them when we were ready to buy- and we did!!! I recommend South Bay Volkswagen...
