Review content:
I've heard that one of the owner's of Razzo's opened this Cajun restaurant in Weatherford and I'm inclined to believe it because the food can be soooo good. But scroll down to the bottom to read about the negatives.
Boo-Rays is a big casual restuarant with concrete floors and a large bar area. It has a country feel although is decorated with lots of New Orelands/Mardi Gras knick knacks.
Boo-Rays serves a good selection of fish - blackened, grilled, broiled with any number of sauces. I always get the decandent crawfish hollandaise sauce. Your plate comes with a huge serving of very good dirty rice and a dish of green beans.
There is also a fabulous chicken fried steak on the menu that includes the best mashed potatoes and gravy you've every had.
The prices are reasonable (fish dinner is around $11), and even better if you go at lunch!
Here's what's wrong with Boo-Rays: very strange staff. The hostess are very "whatever", just out of high gals that act like you have interrupted them. The wait staff isn't that great, either - not as friendly as you expect and certainly not as attentive.
Sometimes the irritation is worth it, but sometimes pulling into Sonic next door is just easier.
