Review content:
Is this a prison or a movie theater?? Perhaps a little of both. This is THE WORST movie theater I have ever been to in my life. If I had the free time to stand outside and boycott its existence, I would. I have visited this establishment about 4 times in the past year, each time hoping it would be better. Well, it only got worse. Problems I have encountered on different visits include: 1 - Near refusal to an R movie because I did not have my ID (I am 32 years old). 2 - getting in late because the clerk held up the entire line arguing with a 17 year old about admittance into a movie (I finally bought his ticket for him) 3 - Being harassed to show my ticket for the 3rd dam time at the entrance to the movie, after I left to use the restroom. Almost being kicked out for not having said ticket until I finally told the attendant to follow me up the stairs where my boyfriend had both tickets. 4 - Receiving EXTREMELY rude service in general, and stale nasty food...these workers act like the theater is some sort of state prison. These are my personal experiences, I will not get into detail about problems others have encountered there, or I could write a book. Recently I heard that the pesky "ticket checkers" now go into theaters while the movie is playing and ask people for tickets during the movie! Also, they have stated that customers can no longer bring their own food as of Oct 31st. This is a ridiculous way to run a theater. None of the theaters in Reno are like this - I would give all the Reno theaters an A+++ compared to this heinous Sparks theater. I would rather drive all the way across town into Reno to see a movie in a pleasant atmosphere than deal with this nightmare!
