This place is GREAT! If you like seafood and don't want to go to Atlanta or a chain where you will get previously frozen crab legs from the west coast and canned clam chowder, then go to Gumbeax! The food is always consistent for us every time we go (20+). The baked oysters taste like you are sitting on the beach and their buffalo shrimp are spicy and BETTER than we have had at the beach and we lived in Virginia Beach for 4 years! When we go, we go like old people. To avoid a wait get there before 5:00 pm. Anytime later and you will wait an hour. It's worth it though. They mix up some good drinks and sometimes there is no wait to sit at the bar upstairs. P.S. Their chocolate bread pudding-OMG!
