Review content:
An age old Erie tradition, this chocolatier has been world renowned for their family owned business. Seeing it grow through the years has been a wonderful thing and while I myself don't care for the darker chocolates they offer I know so many others that swear by it. The funny thing is, your either a Pulakos fan or a Romolo's or Stefanelli's fan. Romolo's boasts the original Stefanelli's recipes from Papa Romolo Stefanelli, while Stefanelli's boasts the old recipe with some new twists (not quite the same) but both are a smooth milk chocolate. Pulakos offers milk chocolate also, but it has a darker chocolate taste.
Their savory and famous chocolate strawberries will always be an Erie favorite and I have to say, no matter what can't be copied.
With various locations and age old recipes, this long time Erie standard favorite shall remain so!
