I have been here several times for drinks and I must say that my friends and I really enjoy it. After reading the reviews of the place I am really surprised because I've always had positive experiences. Sure, the drinks are a bit pricey, but the place is very well designed and is nothing like any of the other places in Astoria! I was speaking to a friend of the owner last night who was working [and gave us very attentive, positive service] and he said that they have had problems with their liquor license being revoked and difficulties finding a quality wait staff and chef which may help to explain the negative comments on here. It seems to me like their heart is in the right place, and they're just working out some minor details now. I'd still much rather go here than the meat market next door where cheesy techno abounds!
