Service was slow and couldn't speak english at any level approaching passable.
The server didn't know what nigiri was.
I paid $3 for one mochi ball.
Cuts of fish were good but not enough rice.
I dropped $30 on lunch which I was shooting for half as much.
Server was doing dishes instead of following through on return service.
Decor decent. Go to Cafe de Bangkok in Hallowell for a better value and a nicer restaurant.
Unfortunately, for some people you can't just open up an Asian restaurant anywhere and staff it with people who aren't japanese. Portland has the best sushi in Maine hands down.
