La Strada is a newer place on Barrington Road, open just over a year, I heard good things about it so we decided to try it our last Saturday evening. We had a party of 5 people. We had to wait a miunte for the table to get set I guess, the hostess was very nice when we arrived, we were offered to have a drink in the bar, we declined, they had a jazz singer in the bar, sounded nice but we were hungry. When we sat, a nice warm bread basket came, the server pre sented a wine list and took a drink order, then we ordered appetizers and entrees. We had a nice caesar salad, a bowl of large black mussels, great sauce to dunk the bread, and a jumbo shrimp cocktail, all very nice. But then the entrees arrived, and wow, we were shocked, I had a linguini with white clam sauce, fresh chopped clams mixed with whole baby manilla clams, very sweet, it was the best bowl of linguini I have ever had, my wife had a rare grilled tuna steak, and there was a thin crust pizza and a nice grilled Filet Mignon and some grilled pork chops that we very juicy and fresh. I tell ya, we were all very impressed. The menu has sandwiches, burgers, Cobb salads, Lasagna, veal parmigian and Lobster Fra Diavolos, little of everything. I would highly reccomend this restaurant. Try the Tutto Bene super Tuscan red wine, yummy.... Zitzi Pros: great parking lot, great menu, great outdoor patio, easy to find, nice decor Cons: None that I saw
