Review content:
For being kind of a smaller museum, Science Works is excellent. They change displays often and have relationships with larger museums that they trade with, so you can expect to have a great time here. I like that there are many "hands on" activities, plus they show films and have discussions about various things.
Another plus is that they often bring in groups of local schoolchildren and let them explore the place. My daughters middle school class went on a field trip there recently and I tagged along to help. I was impressed by how friendly and kind the volunteers were to the kids, especially since there were so many of us there that day.
It is a great place! Go, learn something and have fun!
