We visited Haiku last night for the first time for my husband’s birthday. We really enjoyed our visit, I called ahead to reserve seating, which they encouraged, but when we arrived at 6 on a Wednesday, we found they had plenty of seating. We order several items I would recommend including the Crunching Buckeye Roll, which includes pecans in the roll. I don’t think I have ever have nuts in a roll and I really like this, we also really enjoyed the Rock n’ Roll, it is primarily eel and very good. We also had the small plate calamari with vegetables and I’m not sure what the sauce was on top, but it was excellent, kind of sweet and sour. We both had sukitinis. I really like my peach one, but my husband wouldn’t recommend the purple haze unless you enjoy Robitussin with your meal. As a site note, we also enjoyed excellent service from a very well informed server.
