Review content:
The cozy atmosphere and romantic charm reminds me of the Blue Note, the worlds finest jazz club, located in the heart of New Yorks Greenwich Village.
Upon entering the facility, you become part of the exciting and spirited atmosphere. Enjoy one of the many martini's, feast on fine dining plate presentations and sit back and rock with the Band.
The Band is called BAD and they really are BAD. The guy on the piano made me think little richard walked in the building and the saxophone player made me forget about kenny G.
The music alone is worth the trip to the Sugar Shack. I ordered the Lobster Flambee which accented the atmosphere, yet I spent most of my night tasting martini's... The shacktini made with watermelon was good and the chocolate martini was great; however, they pale in comparison to the "Hip-Hop" martini made with hypnotiq, patron and something else they did not share.
Do not drive to the sugar shack because the martini's will have you ordering more and more...
This place has already become the best music location for live music in Houston (just my opinion).
Pros: The Live Music and Great Martini Bar
Cons: zero cons
