My husband and I attended their brunch on Sunday. The nicest part of it was the live music. We walked in and waited for nearly five minutes before we were told (once I asked) that we had to seat ourselves. The food wasn't great at all...the grits looked more like runny mashed potatoes...disgusting. We ordered waffles and pancakes which were forgotten about. We had to remind the waiter after about 12 minutes and waited another 10 minutes before we got it. I couldn't believe the waffle when I saw it...it was flat and crunchy...I don't think they make waffles like that in Louisiana. We told the waiter about it...he returned it and brought back another one with the same qualities...just not as hard as the first one. The potatoes, sausage and pastries were the best things that I had. To wrap this up...when we asked what the problem was the waiter said that they had a new cook. That really wasn't an excuse to me...why would anyone hire a cook that can't even make a descent waffle. We were so dissapointed...maybe the lunch/dinner service and food is better but we'll never know...they've already fooled us once...we're not going to give them the opportunity to do it again. Pros: Live Music Cons: Service, Brunch Menu and Food Quality
