I was disappointed in the Sugar Shack. I had dinner with 4 friends on a Saturday night and the experience was below average. The restaurant staff did not appear to be in tune with one another. The owner of the restaruant had to make 4 or 5 appearances at our table to apologize for one thing or another related to service. The bar was not properly stocked...go figure for a Saturday night to make half of the 100 martini's they advertise (we had to change our order 2 times because they did not have the ingredients to make our drinks). The waitress got our order wrong and the food was not seasoned at all for Creole or Louisiana style cooking. The one thing that was very nice, was the music. If you go to sit at the bar and listen to some live jazz you want be dissapointed. I would suggest you eat elsewhere.
