We had a great time at Santa Fe on East 79th Street, The food was great and the bar was filled with such nice people. We went back a 2nd time the same week and found that the food and service is right on every time. The steak was so tender and I like the fresh dish thay made at our table to start. After we went to the bar and watched the game and has some fun drinks. The bar has a heavy hand!!!! Good beer selection and we ordered some pick food at the bar the first time and it was also first rate and w/good prices. Get there between 4-8 and the drinks are half price. There is also a coupon we used on Google. If it's still there you can use it to get 4 drinks for 1/2 price anytime after 10PM. They were happy to take them. The owner is Sam and the second time we went in he remembered us and gave us a free tres-leche. I think that's how you spell it. The best I ever had. I'll go back again, a lot, it's a keeper. My friend said he saw the owner many years ago when he worked at Mr. Chows. This must be why the food is so good here. I ate a big and quality meal and had three drinks for less than $30.00!!!!!!!!!
