Review content:
The VERY loud music. My husband and I recently traveled from Boston to Brooklyn and dined at Tempo with our DD who lives in the neighborhood and her fiance. We were scouting the place as a possible venue for a small engagement party. The four of us purposefully ordered different appetizers, entrees, desserts, and wines and each of us sampled them all. Everything about Temp ... the food, the service, and the casual decor ... was wonderful ... with the exception of the VERY LOUD music. To me music should be in the background ... not foreground, should set a mood ... provide the proper ambiance for fine dining. Their choice of music certainly did not. To their credit ... when we asked if the sound could be adjusted, the wait staff was most apologetic and the sound was turned down.
