I just visited Modern Salon & Spa (Birkdale) for the first time, and I cannot speak more highly of my experience! As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly by two staff members and immediately taken to my stylist. Cade (the stylist) gave me the BEST haircut I have ever had and styled my hair better than I ever could. Plus, the wonderfully scented Aveda products made my hair look gorgeous (and smell great, too). My husband not only noticed my haircut, but he went on and on about it himself! I will never try another salon in Charlotte again--I'm completely hooked!
Pros: Friendly staff, Open til 9 p.m. many nights, Fantastic Aveda products
