A board certified dermatologist in Mount Vernon suggested that I would benefit from some ?IPL? treatments, to reduce redness, age spots, and small broken veins on my face. But, he did not have a laser to do the procedure. So I was thrilled to learn there was such state of the art equipment in my own home town of Anacortes! I contacted Island Medical Spa, and I had a very professional, informative, friendly, and free consult with one of their aestheticians, Lacey. It has been several months since that first visit, and I am thrilled with everything I have learned about my skin, sun damage, the aging process and what I can do about it! I have now worked with Lacey and Kristy with procedures that have ranged from the IPL to a dermal filler. I enjoyed the professional atmosphere and the fact that there is NO over promising and under delivering on the results. Some procedures take longer to show results?but they do come! And then there are procedures like the dermal filler with a real ?wow? factor the same day. I also have chosen procedures with little to no ?down? time, and I am still getting the results I want, with little discomfort. My friends have started to notice ?something? about my fresh appearance. So, I have let them in on the secret. And two of them have already gone in for their free consult, and they are looking forward to their own great experience at Island Medical Spa. I would recommend these knowledgeable professionals to anyone!
