Review content:
Well the last two reviews must have come from two of the most uneducated people that know nothing about food, authenticity, ambience, etc, etc, etc...but especially running a successful business!!! I to hve been a loyal customer to all four of the Pane e Vino Locations since the 80's, the knowledge behind these establishments in both food, wine & the Italian culture is beyond words....truthfully yes the Pane e Vino-Brea location is a "bit," different but look at what you are comparing The Oc to Beverly Hills....the menu at the Brea location was exactly the same to BH for three of the 5years...but overtime you study and you ask your clientele what they are used to and Fusilli Melanzane e Scarmoza is definately no that!!!! Orange County is surrounded by Bucca di Beppo and the Olive Garden, so to appeal your demographic what do you do you adapt!!!! Business Class 101!!!So I would say the next time you are making such a drastic judgement on a restaurant, be fair, be clear and be honest!!!! And as a side note, Fettucini Alfredo is not or has never been on the Pane e Vino menu!!!!! Its Quattro Formaggi....in Italian...not spelled wrong....so for those that enjoy rustic northern Italian food, give Pane e Vino a try and see for yourself why they have been in business since 1987!!!!! Not counting the IL Fornaio's, Prego's & Chianti Restaurants that the owner created!!!!! Ciao Pros: service, wine list, food, ambience Cons: parking can be an issue, just valet
