Gates Bar B Que is definintely the best Bar B Que that Kansas City has to offer. Everytime I go there, I come out stuffed to the gills. The sauce is the best. It definitely ranks number one in my book. The food is always good regardless what you order and the staff is always willing to accomodate your requests. Want your meat lean as possible, just ask and they'll be more than happy to honor your request. The dining room is always clean and there is always staff waiting to clean up as patrons are leaving. If you can get past initally being hollered at "Hi May I Help You" when you first walk in, you'll definitely enjoy the food.
