Sunflower bistro is, as the reviewer below me suggested, much better than any other of the restaurants in la grange. It is a beautiful little space with a menu that shows the chef''s competence in the kitchen. However, it is not at all brilliant, and this new menu is filled with items that are well prepared and somewhat enjoyable- but they fall short of fabulous. Though the chef shows he can cook, he hasn't shown the ability to create a menu that tantalizes. After several visits during the past few months, i can't say that i am eager to return. Sunflower bistro is respectable, but not resplendant.
