I don't know of any place in Atlanta where the chef often times takes your order, prepares mouthwatering yet unpretentious food, serves it to you and rings up your purchase.
Everything about this place seems to be done with love. Mr Collins always remembers my name and my favorite choices (Meatloaf Blueplate Special and anything underneath his amazing tomato sauce)
Plus I can pick up basic groceries, shop for antiques, items by local artists, and the "penny candy" counter takes me back to my childhood.
Going to TW Collins is like coming home!
