Businiess name:  Todai Restaurant
Review by:  Denise G.
Review content:
I went to Todai about a year and a half ago while in Tampa visiting a friend. There is no buffet that comes close to presenting Japanese foods so well. The sushi is well wrapped and they have a lot of variety. They even wrap special rolls if you ask politely. They also have a hot bar with ramen and udon as well as other japanese treats. I remember thinking that I wouldn't mind living in Tampa if I could go to Todai every weekend. It is a little pricey ($20 per person for dinner) but if you go to a nice sushi bar, you can easily spend well over $20 on a single order. Todai is truly a sushi lovers dream. I wish there were one in Tallahassee! I did hear from a friend that they recently changed names (meaning they are no longer a part of the franchise). I checked todai.com and there is no longer an entry listed for Florida (the closest are Texas and Virginia!!!!). Hopefully the new owners/management can keep the same quality sushi on their buffet....if not...what am I going to do!?
