Review content:
My mom and I took my kids for lunch here today. I have lived in San Mateo for 8 years and I have heard time and again how great Taxi's is. First, I knew it was a diner, but I guess I was expecting more of a Johnny Rockets type decor then a stand in line kinda joint. The kids loved their hamburgers. I had a baby burger and decided for the first time in a long time to splurge on calories and have a shake, but I was sort of disappointed with that. It wasn't thick enough and I had a rootbeer shake and I didn't really taste the rootbeer, seemed like a vanilla shake. My mom had the cobb salad and it looked quite good. I'd go here again, but I'm not gonna run back. Although, Tuesdays after 3 mom eats free with the family.
