It's a different experience going here. It's fun. Whenever I'm in the market for something, but don't want to pay retail for it, I go to the monthly auctions here. Fridays are the 'preview days' so one can see what's available. The auction itself is on Saturdays. There are separate auctions for autos, household, and 'handyman'. If interested in attending on Saturdays, stop at the caboose and pick up a number. The auctioneer is well known in his field and is just great. It's a trip listening to him and his auctioneering skills. I've seen great deals and I've seen bad ones. Just know how much you're willing to spend and the fair market value of the item beforehand. (I learned the hard way). :) They also sell food and beverage onsite. Auction days may be long.....The parking can be tricky. You better be a good parallel parker. I also know this to be a locally owned business who involves themselves in the community. Nice.
