found a cat to adopt Monday. Completed an application then was told it had to go to vets and was not adoptable. I asked to have it on hold for me and they said they don't do that. Tuesday, I called to see if it was adoptable, and they don't answer the phone, so I left a message to call back. Did not hear back so I drove there at 2 PM and they said the cat had been adopted by someone else. Wednesday, I called the executive director and again I had to leave a call back number. It's now Friday and no call back. My questions would have been: 1. At age 81 did they find a younger person to adopt this 5 month old cat? Did they use outreach and find someone else to adopt it? What a farce! I make monthly donations to another animal rescue center and would have here. Sure won't now and would not recommend others to do so. Go elsewhere.
