My wife came here to wean of the vent and to get stronger and thanks to the staff and doctors that’s exactly what happened. She’s off the vent with the trach removed and on to acute rehab! I’m happy and so is she. She got to eat her first meal yesterday and that was wonderful and up in her chair she has come a long way. I can’t wait till she comes home we have remodeled her kitchen. She’s always wanted that so she’s got a big surprise waiting for her when she comes home. Thank you Respiratory, nursing, rehab, doctors and everyone else.
