Since I came to Kindred about a month ago I have received excellent care from nursing, rehab, respiratory and the other staff too. They treat everyone like family and I couldn’t ask for better care. Kindred Really Cares 1/31/2024

My stay at Kindred went very well the staff here are so caring and compassionate they all go above and beyond for their patients. From nursing to the rehab team to wound care administration and anyone in between. I received excellent care from everybody who just stop by to answer my light. I highly recommend this hospital for wound care and for IV medication this place can handle everything. They make you feel like family and make you feel good about your recovery. Excellent Care 1/26/2024

I’ve been to Kindred more than once and this time was better than the last the staff were great. The wound care specialist were amazing! Dr. Darweesh, nursing, cafeteria staff, rehab and patient advocate were great! Everybody treats you like family and I got home in a couple weeks. I’m so happy. I can’t thank them enough all the encouragement and kindness was really appreciated. I highly recommend Kindred to anyone needing IV medications or wound care they do a great job. Great wound care 12/29/2023

Kindred has a great wound care team and rehab team! They will get you up on your feet and back home and back to work in no time at all. The whole team from the doctor to the nurses, administration, kitchen staff, rehab and housekeeping all really care and really want nothing but the best for their patients. Kindred Sycamore 12/26/2023

My mother came to Kindred for vent weaning and continued care after suffering an inter cranial hemorrhage. She required sedation IV meds, and MD oversight. After losing her husband less than a year ago she’s been through a lot and now all this. I just wanted to thank the staff at Kindred for taking such good care of my mother, she’s all I have left and everyone from Dr. Darweesh, the nursing staff, case manager, administration, housekeeping and rehab did an excellent job with her. I highly recommend Kindred to anyone who’s looking for some place to bring their loved one too. Thank you, Joe Wojtecki more

Best Hospital 11/16/2023

Highly recommend this facility for dialysis needs along with rehab and respiratory needs. The staff are very caring and compassionate with their patients. They truly care. The food here was delicious I really love the chocolate chip cookies the most. My doctor was wonderful and nurses and aides were too. Thank you to respiratory and rehab for helping me get stronger. I’m hoping the next place is as good as this place I’m scared but want to get home for the holidays so this is the next step. God Bess everyone! Monique Nolan more

Kindred Hospital 10/25/2023

While my wife was at Kindred she received excellent care. The staff went above and beyond and she was very well taken care of. We as the family we treated very well too by the staff and by the doctors as well. Dr Darweesh is wonderful so caring and very compassionate. Kindred Hospital 9/26/2023

My son has received wonderful care at Kindred the nurses and aides are wonderful. Dr. Draweesh does an excellent job too he really cares about the patient and the families. My son has been at Kindred 3 times now and every time he gets better so he can return to his home and we are very pleased with his outcome. Kindred Rehab 8/25/2023

I was a Patient at Kindred back in July and thanks to the wonderful staff and caring people I’m back home where I belong. I was so happy to be there because I was actually born there when it was the Sycamore Hospital back in 1949. It’s a weird feeling being back at the place you were born and returning later in life for a completely different reason. I was happy to make it back and share my story with others. The staff here did an amazing job and helped me make it to acute rehab so I could get back home. This is a great place for respiratory needs and wound care too. God Bless all the staff at Kindred! Wonderful Place 7/25/2023

My son was brought to Kindred Sycamore after a bad motorcycle accident. Thanks to the kind and caring staff he has gotten his trach removed and has made quite a big jump in recovery. He’s more awake eating and talking and really coming around. The Pay-it-Forward house was such a great help I was able to stay by my sons side during his entire stay. I lived 4 hours away so what a blessing. Dr. Darweesh was great and the staff was wonderful. Rehab staff was outstanding. Thank you all! Judy Denoyer more

Thanks to all 6/22/2023

Thank you to all the staff at Kindred hospital for everything you did for me and my son. We're so glad he's back home and out of the hospital. I thank the Pay it Forward house for providing me with a place to stay so I could be with my son every day. After recently losing my other son, I couldn't leave his side. The nurses were wonderful and the doctors too. Respiratory did an incredible job and taught me well. The CNAs, rehab, and housekeepers were so caring and treated us like family. Chaplin took me to church on Sunday, and it was in Spanish. Such wonderful and caring staff and Administration along with the kitchen staff as well and of course our case manager and patient advocate. Thank you all! Felix more

Great Experience 6/21/2023

My wife came here to wean of the vent and to get stronger and thanks to the staff and doctors that’s exactly what happened. She’s off the vent with the trach removed and on to acute rehab! I’m happy and so is she. She got to eat her first meal yesterday and that was wonderful and up in her chair she has come a long way. I can’t wait till she comes home we have remodeled her kitchen. She’s always wanted that so she’s got a big surprise waiting for her when she comes home. Thank you Respiratory, nursing, rehab, doctors and everyone else. Nick more

Highly Recommend 4/11/2023

The staff at Kindred treated me very well and the doctor seemed to really care. I find more of a family type environment a little more personal. The rehab team was fantastic and really put their all into every patient. Food was good too I really did enjoy my stay at Kindred hope I don’t have to have to come back but at least I know. Amazing Facility 3/14/2023

Kindred does an amazing job! The staff are amazing and I wish I could continue my stay at Kindred instead of having to transition to another facility. But, I’ll continue to work hard like the rehab team taught me and hopefully I’ll be strong enough to get home soon. The wound care team were outstanding too. The food was delicious. Everyone was so caring and treated me just like family especially Dr. Darweesh, he’s wonderful. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing rehab and wound care. Mary Langley more

My stay at Kindred Sycamore was very pleasant, the entire staff was very caring and pleasant even as busy as they were. Respiratory therapist were the best they are patient and very knowledgeable when it comes to explaining the ends and outs of things. I came to Kindred Sycamore following a major surgery. The physicians visited every day. The nurses and nurses assistants were very helpful and friendly. Rehab and Respiratory gave great care. I would not have wanted to go anywhere else! Sister Marie Agne Marcotte more

My stay at Kindred Sycamore was a very positive experience the staff treated me like family from the first day I arrived. They all treated me very well I can't say anything bad about anyone at Kindred! The staff is friendly positive and very helpful. I even received a handmade quilt from some ladies in Genoa! I really enjoyed my stay at Kindred hospital Sycamore! Most of the staff go above and beyond to help patients out they all are very caring people there. Wished I could have stayed a little longer I had made quite a few good friends too. I ask if I could take a couple of the staff home with me! But they told me no! LOL. Couldn't hurt to ask?
