I have been at Kindred for the past 6 weeks. I was at a different hospital then transferred here for intense long term IV treatment. It was somewhat upsetting to accept the fact that I would be away from home for so long but the staff was very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable in my “home away from home”. They upgraded my TV to a nicer flat screen TV and brought me a very nice (and comfortable) recliner.
It didn’t take long to become familiar with the staffs daily and nightly routines. I went to the gym on weekdays to exercise my legs and also walked the halls. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly so that made my long stay more comfortable.
I’m definitely ready to go home but I feel like I’ve made some new friends here! Thank you, Kindred!
