Review content:
I originally went to the ER for COVID virus. The hospital sent me to Kindred and I was still unaware of what was going on. I didnt recognize any of the doctors. I could barely move to one side or the other. When my head was clear and I was more conscious, I started to remember more. Kindred Clearlake was good. After spending time here I can breath on my own without any machines. They took very good care of me. They work hard to keep my recovery easy. The team was very kind and helped a lot. When I was unable to feed myself I always had some person helping me. We took steps with my recovery. I started just sitting up at the edge of the bed, and getting side to side. Then I transferred to a wheel chair and eventually I got to go to the gym to learn how to walk again. It was difficult to stand up and start walking again, but it felt good! I am happy there are people here that helped me with this good recovery. The respitory team was wonderful. The speech therapist Olivia was also wonderful. Today I feel good and can eat by myself. I am so greatful for her. She always took her time with me. I hope others get the kind of care I had here.
