Businiess name:  Hook It Up Towing

Like all other reviewers, the same happened to us this weekend while visiting Houston. BEWARE WHEN VISITING SHOPS/RESTAURANTS ON WEST HEIMER!!! We parked our car and within 5 minutes "a concerned stranger" approached us in Velvet Taco letting us know our car was being towed. By the time my boyfriend got out there the car was gone, he called the phone number give by the "concerned stranger" and was told they'd return our car if we paid $180, they instructed him to the nearest ATM. (Im no tow expert but I'm sure once your car is towed they don't drive it back to you and collect money) We aren't locals and planned to head home the next day so we did not want to get into with these guys. We got our car back and then we sat and watched the tower in one lot and the "concerned stranger" in another lot as they watched people park, instantly tow their cars and make them pay up. They are complete douches and low lives. I got all of their information and will be filing a complaint with the Texas Dept of Public Safety. Its sad that by the looks of these reviews these losers have been doing this for years.
