Just purchased the buy 2 hours get 1 free special for 4 people at Sun City Stables. Most disappointing money I have ever spent. The horses are terribly over worked, stressed, and so trail broken they do whatever they want. The staff lie about the temperament of the horses instead of making sure your horse is a good fit for you. We had to switch horses before we even hit the trail because Willow tried to take off running repeatedly with our 6 year old and her dad in the saddle. They switched Willow out for Diamond and we finally made it to the trail. After 30 minutes of shuffling through muddy trails that some places were knee deep on the horses, Diamond decided it was time to go home and led our horses back to the stable. No amount of reigning or redirection could keep us on the trail. While trying to voice my concerns upon return one of the male staff became VERY verbally aggressive to me. To the point that I actually felt threatened. Basically my family just paid $240 for a 30 minute walk in the swamp and to get yelled at by stable hand who didn’t want to hear about our dissatisfaction.
TAKE A RIDE SOMEWHERE ELSE!! It will be worth EVERY extra dollar it costs you!!
