I'm not from LA but I'm from Seattle, Washington. We took a trip down to LA with our cat and when we got to LA he wasn't doing too well. He was shaking and wasn't urinating for some time. It was 1:00am so we rushed him to VCA West LA Animal Hospital. The people were really nice. They diagnosed my cat for having a blockage no x-rays were done to determine the blockage. They put a caterer on my cat and he was urinating properly in the bag. They charged me over $2,000 dollars for the stay, treatment and medication. They were saying that it was mandatory that my cat needed surgery or he would not live. That would cost another extra 2,800 for the procedure so we were looking at $5,200 plus medications. They also mentioned that they would treat my cat for ear mites which he had. It was an extra $75.00 which they never did. I took my cat out of there and went home to Seattle.I took my cat to his regular vet and he drained the bladder with his bare hands and took X-Rays to see if he had any cr
