Review content:
Sent my rug to them to be cleaned. Told them upfront it was a long cotton shag rug they said it was fine they could do it. Was told it would take 2 weeks. Manny came out and picked it up, looked over the carpet PRIOR to taking it and confirmed it could be cleaned. I pointed out my area of concern and he said no problem it will be taken care of. Today the carpet was returned and my mother was told to inform me (I wasn’t home when it was delivered) that it was a difficult carpet to clean and they did the best they could.....(wasn’t told it would be difficult when it was picked up I was told it would be no problem). Upon rolling it out I noticed it hadn’t been touched! Not even vacuumed! Stains and debris still there!!!! Two weeks they held onto my carpet and charged me $200 for nothing. Zero services rendered. I would like to emphasize that I had an area of concern on the rug that needed immediate attention (food had been spilled and I was concerned it would rot and cause the carpet to smell) but now that it’s been sitting for weeks having gone unaddressed i can only assume the $300 carpet is now possibly ruined. I’ll find out when I bring it to another company tonight. I called and spoke with the front desk they told me the carpet had gone through their process and was cleaned but they would do it again if i wasn’t satisfied. I told them they most certainly did not clean this carpet and that I wanted a refund and so a technician came out to look at it. Once he arrived he noticed immediately that the carpet hadn’t been touched and that it clearly was still dirty. His exact words were “it looks like $@!#%” and i could not agree more! The second technician, i wasn’t able to catch his name (NOT Manny), was very pleasant and understanding and apologized even though it was not his fault so I do appreciate his help. BUT I am extremely disappointed and very unhappy. I’m now unsure whether or not my other carpets were in fact ever cleaned. Hard to trust. Will not be doing business with this company ever again. I highly suggest giving your carpets a thorough look over and sniff before paying for any services!!! RESPONSE FROM Colonial Chem-Dry: We completely understand your frustrations, Kelley. We were hoping that would have called when you left the same review on another place. We apologize for the inconveniences caused by the issues that you experienced. Please call us at 508-529-4115 so that we may discuss this further and come up with a solution to rectify these issues. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to make this right. Thank you.
