Review content:
I originally came to Hopleaf after hearing that they have Delirium Tremmens on tap. By one rating, this is supposed to be the number on beer in the world, and I'm sure near the top in other ratings. They have a huge selection of Belgian (and otherwise) beers that you would never find, or even hear of anywhere else.
Just recently I took my Dad here (which shows that this place is a good stop for any one, despite age/status, etc) and he discovered another beer they have on tap is Leffe Brune. He said he has never seen that beer in the States before and according to the bartenders, they only just got it in about 2 months ago. What a find! It actually is a very good beer.
The bartenders are friendly and helpful, and the only drawback to this place is that it gets very busy, even on weeknights, and unless you sit in the back in the restaurant section to get something to eat, you have to wait quite a while usually to get a spot near or at the bar.
