I had my first cataract surgery last year with Dr. Bui and afterwards I couldn't wait to get my second eye done. She completed that second surgery several weeks ago. Wow! What an incredible difference in my vision!
When I was diagnosed with cataracts last year, I was hesitant in doing the surgery. There was fear on my part of the surgery itself, fear of "what if something went wrong during surgery and I permanently lost my eyesight," etc. Within only hours of last years surgery, there was such a huge difference in my vision, I knew instantly I had made the right choice. The same is true with the second surgery.
Dr. Bui and her staff at the surgical center are truly, "the best of the best." I have zero doubt that all physicians at Austin Eye are great, but in my opinion, Dr. Bui truly "walks on water." She is technically/medically outstanding, professional, has a great personality, and takes the time with you to visit and assure all of your questions are addressed and your fears are laid aside -- an extremely rare combination to find in today's medical world.
I understand there is hesitation in getting a surgery like this done, but learn from my experience, team up with Dr. Bui and her staff. You'll not only have a significant improvement in your eyesight, but you'll also have an eye doctor you'll treasure for the rest of your life.
