My husband and I were traveling through PA when our dog Bart got loose from us at a highway rest area. He ran into the woods and we tried for hours to find him. After two weeks, we returned home to NJ to find a message from Godot Animal Sanctuary on our answering machine. Bart had been hit by a car and was rescued by the owner of the sanctuary. The sanctuary not only rescued him and got him life saving veterinary care, but took him to the sanctuary, kept him safe and found us through his tags. When we drove there to pick him up we were given a tour and saw all the wonderful animals they've rescued. The place is beautiful! We can't thank Lana, the owner, nearly enough for her kindness and generosity! Rose and Josh Edwards - Denville, NJ
